MTC Federal Credit Union in Greenville, SC invites applications for a Branch Manager I to lead our Greenville branch, coach a high‑performing team, ensure efficient operations, and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will develop relationships with members and community partners, drive growth, promote financial wellness, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements include 1–3 years of banking/financial services experience and a two‑year degree or equivalent;

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of similar or related banking/financial services experience.
• A two-year college degree, specialized certification/licensing, vendor training, or job-specific apprenticeship.
• Ability to perform sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to drive performance and engagement.
• Oversee daily branch operations for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Process member loan applications within established policies.
• Promote financial wellness through member education and relationship building.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Resolve member concerns and ensure a positive service experience.
• Train and develop team on products, services, and procedures.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy, daily balancing, and operational controls.
• Comply with policies, laws, and regulations including BSA/Patriot Act and OFAC.
• Monitor industry trends to keep products and services competitive.

About The Role

The Branch Manager I is responsible for leading branch operations, developing a high‑performing team, and delivering an exceptional member experience. This role ensures policies and procedures are followed while driving growth, strengthening relationships, and supporting the financial well‑being of our members.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to drive performance, accountability, and engagement.

• Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Monitor industry trends to keep products and services competitive.

Requirements
