The role of Branch Manager is maintaining and growing their branch business within the Space Rentals division for ATCO Structures US. This position is focused on overseeing the overall operations, P & L ownership , staffing development, sales leadership, and performance of the branch. The Branch Manager will lead a team of professionals, manage client relationships both in the office and in the field, and ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure quality standards/installations and projects meet both client and internal stakeholder requirements.
- Provide direction and support to create common goals and cohesive team effort between the manufacturing plant and office staff.
- Assist with recruitment, training and development, succession planning, coaching and annual performance evaluations.
- Ensure appropriate processes and controls are in place to identify, manage and monitor business opportunities and risks to the branch operations as well as creating risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee branch level policies, procedures, processes and protocols regarding operations, project management, financial management, and other functional activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency at all levels.
- Ensure branch is well positioned to take on future manufacturing opportunities through effective communication, employment, training and development, succession planning and performance management.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with decision makers in the industry, government, and the communities as well as represent the organization in its relationships with major clients, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, bankers, professional societies, industry associations and other similar groups.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- A college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ensure quality standards/installations and projects meet both client and internal stakeholder requirements.

- A minimum of 10 years working in a managerial role.
- Experience in modular building manufacturing.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Excellent communicator, both with external and internal clients.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Generally, the position is sedentary and will require the ability to sit for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers to type; provide verbal communication
- Ability to speak/hear and use specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Frequent ability to reach with arms, grasp with hands and arms
- Position may require the occasional need to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or balance
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work environment involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which will require following basic safety precautions and ability to wear assigned and appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Position may require that the employee work long hours, up to twelve (12) hours per day.
