Job summary

Hampel Oil Distributors, Inc. is seeking an experienced People Leader for its San Antonio operations in the oil lubricant and fuel distribution sector. The role centers on growing the business by leading CDL delivery drivers and warehouse teams, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Starting salary ranges from $95,000 to $110,000 plus incentive bonuses. The position includes health, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401K with company match, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar role in a distribution setting.
• Supervisory experience with strong leadership and decision‑making skills; coaching and mentoring employees.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills with staff, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Successfully implement and achieve sales, customer service and profitability goals and objectives within the San Antonio area and the Eagle Ford Basin.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the warehouse operations, field operations, dispatch (Drivers), equipment repair and customers.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop employees and company culture by promoting mutual respect and a growth mindset for all staff.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments, deliveries, and inventory management.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands, in field and on site.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations and customer satisfaction.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of orders.

What You Will Do:

What Skills and Experience We are Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar role in a distribution setting.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• 5 years’ experience in the fuel and lubricant industry and strong knowledge of oil and gas operations
• Strong experience analyzing financial statements including P&L management
• Bachelor's in Business Administration
