Job summary

Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC in Northborough, MA is seeking an experienced Branch/Sales Manager to oversee all rental and sales operations at the Northborough location. You will coordinate fleet readiness, manage customer inquiries, demonstrate equipment, and drive new business.

Ideal candidate has at least four years in outside/inside sales, preferably with rental or heavy equipment knowledge, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all rentals and sales operations at the Northborough, MA location.
• Reach out to prospects, convert inquiries into customers, and demonstrate equipment to prospective accounts.
• Process sales and rental agreements and coordinate with the Service Manager on equipment readiness and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a positive customer service experience and support general administrative duties as assigned.

Branch/Sales Manager – Northborough, MAVacuum Truck Rentals, LLC, is one of the largest vacuum truck rental companies in the U.S. with a fleet of more than 1000 pieces of equipment and 19 locations nationwide. With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking an experienced full-time Branch/Sales Manager in our Northborough, MA office. The Branch Manager will have direct oversight of all rentals and sales operations including, but not limited to, fleet management and general operational processes.Responsibilities associated with this position include:- Ability to use all available resources to reach out to prospects and turn those prospects into customers.- Manage incoming inquiries quickly, efficiently and accurately.- Introduce and demonstrate equipment to prospective accounts.- Work directly with customers to fulfill their equipment needs and assist them with solving challenges.- Educate customers of equipment and rental options.- Make outside sales calls with a focus on business development and managing existing customer relationships.- Oversee and process sales and rental agreements.- Work with Service Manager to prepare units for rental and projecting future equipment needs and rental trends.- Assist the Service Department with ongoing customer communications and in anticipating service and maintenance needs.- Establish and maintain a positive customer service experience.- Other general and administrative duties as assigned.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of four (4) years in outside and inside sales, with rental, heavy equipment or fleet management experience and strong knowledge of the vacuum truck industry is strongly preferred. Solid relationship-building and communication skills are key, as well as strong planning and negotiation skills. Strong computer skills a must. Detail oriented with ability to multi-task while delivering exceptional customer service. Must have strong organizational skills and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
