Job summary

CTDI is seeking a key Branch Manager to oversee all operational aspects of CTDI Branch operations in a high-volume environment. You will lead employees and management staff, drive production including logistics and inventory control, and manage the relationship with our customer to develop new business opportunities for the branch.

The role requires a strong background in operations, P&L responsibility, and proven coaching skills to develop the team while delivering exceptional service levels

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Business Management or related discipline preferred.
  • 10–15 years of proven Operations management experience.
  • 10+ years in high-volume distribution/3PL/manufacturing/forward logistics operation.
  • Experience fostering coaching relationships and advancing employee development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles and deadline prioritization.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer interaction skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Project).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that customer service expectations are met and CTDI service levels metrics achieved.
  • Generate and communicate ideas for continual process improvement and standardization across branch operations.
  • Manage P&L and budget for the branch location.
  • Monitor and manage revenues and expenses affecting P&L performance.
  • Communicate with customer and internal departments to resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Prepare reports and analyses as required by the customer or CTDI internal teams.
  • Support forecast reconciliation with posted General Ledger results during Monthly Close.
  • Ensure compliance with CTDI safety programs and OSHA/state workplace safety laws.
  • Ensure building security requirements are met.

Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.

This key management position is responsible for all operational aspects of CTDI Branch operations. This will include managing and leading CTDI employees and management staff. Other duties include managing production including technical, logistics, and inventory control operations. The Branch Manager also directly interfaces with our customer in an effort to build and maintain a positive working relationship on behalf of the corporation as well as helping to develop new business opportunities for the branch. Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that customer service expectations are met, including achieving all CTDI service levels metrics and quality performance goals.
  • Generate, cultivate, and communicate ideas for continual improvement of processes and activities across all areas of the operation and lead standardization within the branch operations.
  • Responsible for P&L/Budget management for branch location.
  • Monitor and manage all revenues and expenses that impact P&L performance.
  • Communicate and interact with customer and various internal functional departments (i.e. IT, HR, Accounting, Program Management, Quality etc.) in order to resolve issues, capitalize on opportunities and improve business and service performance.
  • Prepare various reports and analyses as required by the customer or CTDI internal organizations.
  • Support research and reconcile forecasted financial results with posted General Ledger results as part of the Monthly Close Process.
  • Support and ensure compliance with CTDI safety programs and initiatives as well as all applicable OSHA and state workplace safety laws.
  • Ensure compliance with all building security requirements set forth by CTDI and its customers.
  • Position reports to the Director of Program Management for a major CTDI customer with dotted line reporting responsibility to the Corporate VP of Operations.

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Business Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 10‑15 years of proven Operations management experience required.
  • 10+ years working in a high-volume distribution, 3PL, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation.
  • Experience in fostering strong coaching relationships and advancing employee development initiatives.
  • Advanced understanding of Project Management principles and the criticality of deadline prioritization.
  • Highly skilled in effectively managing a challenging workload, prioritizing tasks and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Profound customer interaction skills coupled with effective communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access and Project), report preparation and data analysis.
