Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Branson, MO, seeks a Store Manager to oversee sales and operating functions, driving profitability and customer satisfaction across the assigned store. You will supervise and train store staff, build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors, and ensure safe, efficient store operations aligned with company standards.

Minimum five years in the electrical distribution industry is preferred, with demonstrated leadership and communication abilities

Qualifications

• High School education or its equivalent.
• Some post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• Thorough knowledge of the electrical distribution industry.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company employees, customers, suppliers and vendors.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required.

Job description

Primarily responsible for managing and directing the sales and operating functions of the assigned store(s) to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.. Supervises and trains store operating personnel. Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationship with customers, suppliers, vendors and other individuals.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend, climb, push, pull and maneuver at heights and in tight or small places. Ability to occasionally climb stairs and a ladder and step stool. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 40 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 40 lbs. The ability to work in a constant state of alert and in a safe manner.
