Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous library or retail experience preferred.
• Basic clerical and computer skills required.
• Ability to work with supervision and follow library policies.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to travel between KDL locations.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out materials and process patron transactions.
• Maintain accurate patron records and fines.
• Assist patrons with locating materials and using catalog/e-readers.
• Sort, shelve, and handle receiving/delivery of materials.
• Assist with shelving, sorting, and basic maintenance.
• Provide training/guidance to staff as needed.
• Operate small office equipment and POS system.
