Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking an ABM to work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve branch goals by ensuring day-to-day operational excellence, supervising Tellers, and providing Breakthrough Client Service. The ABM processes transactions, places clients in accounts and loans, cross-sells services, and makes referrals as appropriate.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, banking experience, and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in banking, business, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.
• Customer service background in retail or banking.
• Ability to grow sales by developing long-lasting relationships and customized solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure branch meets or exceeds operations standards and audits.
• Monitor sales and service goals and coach team to deepen customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with consumers and businesses in the local community.
• Act as back up to personal banking team to open accounts and process loan requests.
• Lead and coach Tellers; may oversee personal bankers.
• Process branch operations tasks: opening/closing, overdraft monitoring, wires, collections, stop payments, branch controls.
