Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Branch Manager in Dayton, OH to lead a sales-driven team focused on delivering exceptional client service and financial solutions. The role emphasizes coaching, compliance, and community engagement to grow small business relationships and achieve branch goals.

The position requires strong leadership, outside calling, and deep knowledge of financial products, credit concepts, and COIs. It offers base salary with incentive opportunities and a commitment to ethical banking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team (required)
• 3+ years demonstrated small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations (required)
• General understanding of financial statements and concepts (required)
• Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports (required)
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Centers of Influence (COIs) to further promote business (required)
• Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners (required)
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and possess strong public speaking skills (required)

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture, and ensures every client interaction is meaningful
• Engages in outside calling to small business clients in the community to identify referrals
• Grow the business through retention, expansion, and acquisition tactics
• Lead and develop the branch team, ensuring knowledge of Key's products, sales process and market landscape
• Foster partnerships with line of business partners to deepen client relationships
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and onboarding of branch team
• Provide coaching and performance management through regular sessions and training tools
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and internal controls in branch operations
• Work Saturdays as directed by management
• Perform other duties as assigned and adapt to changing responsibilities
• Comply with KeyBank policies and professional conduct
