Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Branch Manager to lead the branch team in achieving strong sales, deposits and loan growth while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will oversee daily operations, staff development, risk management, compliance and community engagement, with a focus on building trusted relationships and a customer-first culture across Upstate New York and neighboring regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch team to achieve targets for deposits, loans and financial products.
• Provide leadership, training, performance reviews and staff development.
• Foster customer-first culture and build long-term relationships with the community.
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensure compliance, risk mitigation and reporting.
• Travel to support other branches as needed and participate in community events.
