Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Branch Manager I to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced rental environment. You will oversee reservations, staffing, and operations to ensure profitability, high customer satisfaction, and compliance with corporate policies.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to drive performance through coaching and strategic planning. A background in rental or hospitality is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Previous management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in car rental, hospitality, or tourism is a plus.
• Result orientation with a history of success.
• Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in technology.

Responsibilities

• Direct and organize all reservations and pickups; develop relationships with vendors such as Lyft, Uber and Pep-boys.
• Develop and implement location strategies to maximize profitability and revenue management opportunities.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at or above area goals.
• Coach staff and empower problem resolution and customer relations.
• Attend/host outside sales meetings or events to promote Hertz and the branch location.
• Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with Branch staff to ensure KPI knowledge.
• Hold weekly staff meetings to keep employees motivated and informed.
• Complete performance reviews with all Branch staff and discuss strengths and development opportunities.
• Maintain positive employee relations and ensure policies are followed.
