Job summary

Coastal States Bank in Bluffton, SC, is looking for a Branch Manager I to lead daily operations, ensure compliance, and drive client satisfaction. You will manage deposits and loans, grow the branch's portfolio, and represent CSB in the community with integrity and service excellence.

You will oversee staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations, implement the branch business plan, and maintain a culture aligned with CSB’s core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive retail banking experience including cash handling and account servicing.
• HELOC origination and processing experience preferred.
• Treasury solutions knowledge and business banking experience.
• Proficiency with technology and banking systems including Premier UI, Mantl, Verafin, CheckFree preferred.
• Experience in leading and mentoring peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations, teller, TCR, ATM, vault and security processes.
• Oversee daily tasks: NSF decisions, non-post review, wire approvals.
• Ensure audits are completed and corrective actions taken.
• Support loan origination with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage Treasury Management referrals and collaboration with TM officers.
• Monitor outbound calling programs and ensure team follow-through.
• Provide staff supervision, coaching and performance management.
