Job summary

Dexter seeks a Branch Manager to lead our operations, sales growth, and profitability across a busy branch network in the U.S. This role focuses on revenue performance, safety, and customer service while building a capable, engaged team.

You will oversee warehouse activities, inventory controls, and cross-functional collaboration to meet aggressive targets and ensure top-notch service for our customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in branch operations, warehouse management, or sales with leadership.
• Proven P&L management and ability to drive business performance.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety rules.
• Ability to lead teams, drive sales growth, and build customer relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and WMS/ERP platforms.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations with full accountability for revenue growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute plans to meet sales, margin, and operational targets.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across functions.
• Build and coach a high-performing, safety-focused team.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Oversee receiving, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts and audits.
• Optimize replenishment and purchasing to meet demand.
• Resolve product damage and shipping issues with corrective actions.
• Manage fleet and vehicles, overseeing maintenance and costs.
• Drive customer engagement and expand market share.
• Foster a customer-focused culture and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with purchasing, supply chain, finance, and sales.
