Job summary

Truist is seeking a Branch Leader to manage all aspects of an assigned Sumter, SC branch. The role focuses on driving performance, coaching staff, and developing small business and affluent client relationships.

The position emphasizes compliance with internal controls, risk policies, and cross-functional collaboration with IRM and Operations. Leadership experience and a strong customer mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and pass the NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values in the team and in support of the Truist culture.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver strong team and individual performance through Truist strategy areas (Small Business, Mass Affluent, IRM partnerships).
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and client strategies, with outbound calling and prospecting.
• Participate in civic and professional groups to prospect and develop new business and build the Truist Brand.
• Lead and motivate the branch team to fulfill the Purpose, Mission and Values for client financial success and team empowerment.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with procedures, controls, risk management, and training.
• Manage human capital decisions including interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
