Job summary

Truist is seeking a Branch Leader to manage all aspects of an assigned branch and drive performance, coaching the team, and developing business. The role emphasizes Small Business and relationship management within the community.

You will lead hiring, performance reviews, and scheduling while ensuring compliance with bank policies and ethics. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and prior branch leadership experience, with mortgage licensing readiness within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and align with Truist culture.
• Drive branch business development and performance through client-facing activities.
• Grow Small Business revenue via face-to-face appointments, outbound calling, and prospecting.
• Engage in civic and professional groups to develop new business and strengthen the Truist brand.
• Lead and coach branch team to fulfill purposes and values for client financial success.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance and risk management.
• Make human capital decisions including hiring, scheduling, development planning and reviews.
