Job summary

Truist is seeking a Branch Leader in the United States to manage all aspects of the assigned branch, driving performance, coaching teams, and developing new business. The role emphasizes Small Business expertise and community engagement to advance Truist’s purpose of building better lives.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, leadership experience, and SAFE Mortgage licensing readiness. It includes cross-training to assist with teller tasks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill Truist's purpose, mission and values.
• Drive branch business development to deliver strong team and individual performance.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and client strategies.
• Participate in civic and business groups to prospect and develop new business and build the Truist brand.
• Lead and motivate branch teammates to fulfill company goals and values.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to comply with bank procedures and risk policies.
• Hire, interview, and manage performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
