Job summary

Monroe Tractor is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our on-site branch operations, overseeing service, parts, sales, and rental while coaching the team to meet budgets and KPI targets. You will coordinate with Directors and the Operations Director to cultivate a best-in-class branch experience for customers and internal partners.

• Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops annual objectives and expense budgets for the branch. Approves department goals and budgets.
• Establish regularly occurring L10 meetings to foster collaboration, complete branch goals, and improve communication.
• Ensures plans and programs are carried out by department heads relating to volume, profit, product mix, and market penetration.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and coach branch personnel; leverage OEM vendors, Directors, and HR for improvement programs; conduct one-on-ones.
• Evaluate pricing, distribution, and competitive actions; implement changes to improve branch sales volume and profit.
• Ensure orders and customer communications are promptly and accurately handled.
• Measure trade-in allowances with the sales manager to balance new and used equipment sales; oversee repairs timeline.
• Recommends acquisition of additional lines of equipment or changes in present lines; regularly examines equipment records.
• Quarterly evaluate department managers' performance; establish compensation programs with Ops Director; modify as needed.
• Enforce company policy rules; demonstrate brand-aligned judgment in decisions.
• Maintain records, submit reports, check credit, control expenditures, and safeguard assets.
• Maintain customer relations with professionalism; stay composed under stress.
• Collaborate with functional managers and vendors to maintain company image and meet objectives.
• Submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans with results to the Operations Director.
• Develop and implement corrective actions when objectives aren't met.
• Empower staff and provide meaningful feedback to execute the operating plan.
