Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager to lead branch operations and develop staff while delivering exceptional member experiences. You will coach teams, manage day-to-day activities, support loan processing, and help drive branch performance in a community-focused credit union environment.

The role requires 3+ years in financial services with lending exposure, plus notary eligibility within 90 days, and Mortgage Loan Originator qualifications

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial industry experience, including 1+ years of lending experience.
• Notary Public or ability to obtain within first 90 days where possible.
• Must be able to qualify annually as a Mortgage Loan Originator under S.A.F.E Act.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and develops branch team members to provide an exceptional Member Experience and lead with the MACU Way.
• Assists in daily branch operations including cash management and compliance; supports branch manager with loan exceptions.
