Vancity is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for the Lynn Creek Community Branch (Branch 46). You will establish relationships with business members and promote Vancity offerings. The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires guiding staff to deliver superior member service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance, with 1+ year in leadership, strong communication, and a deep commitment to community value. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong business acumen and advanced knowledge of Vancity products, policies, procedures, systems and services.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop relationships with business community contacts and promote Vancity products and services.
• Lead non-management staff to deliver an excellent member experience aligned to branch objectives.
• Assist Branch Manager in developing plans to achieve financial objectives for the branch.
• Manage day-to-day service delivery, including staffing, scheduling, traffic flow, problem resolution and referrals during high volume periods.
