Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a branch associate to open and process deposit and loan accounts, including complex products. You will cross-sell services, support branch operations, and maintain cash drawer accuracy.

The role requires retail banking experience, ability to handle loans, and strong client relationship skills, with MLO responsibilities at open-end transactions as defined by the bank.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer and business products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer and business lending.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers.

Responsibilities

• Opens and processes deposit and loan accounts, including complex products.
• Maintains proactive client solutions and crosses-sells services.
• Oversees branch operations including opening/closing, wires, checks, and controls.
• Assesses operational/audit requirements and supports remediation or improvements.
• Acts as back-up to personal banking team for accounts and loan requests.
