Aston Carter is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in a branch setting in Bossier City, LA. You will handle quotes, orders, and lead times, while maintaining high accuracy and professional customer service across phone, email, and walk-in inquiries.

You’ll coordinate with vendors and internal teams to fulfill requests, support the retail store function, and ensure smooth order processing. A strong English communicator with data-entry precision is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in inside sales.
• Experience in manufacturing/oil & gas/distribution environments.
• Customer service skills aligned to procedures.
• Handle quotes, orders, and inquiries in inside sales.
• Accurate data entry with focus on precision.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication.
• Excellent listening and written/oral English communication.
• Organized with attention to detail in quotes/orders.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quotes, orders, and lead times promptly.
• Prepare quotations for standard and custom items.
• Create and process customer orders with complete details.
• Relay product, pricing, and order information clearly to customers.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, availability, and delivery.
• Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and operations on POs.
• Manage branch retail store and counter sales.
• Assist walk-in customers and recommend products.
