Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Entry-Level Inside Sales Representative in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will handle inbound inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, and support pricing and delivery coordination while learning pricing structures and profitability.

This is an onsite, contract-to-hire role with a focus on customer service and growth into account management. Ideal candidates have a BA or equivalent, 6+ months in related roles, strong communication skills, and comfort using ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is required.
• 6+ months in customer service, order processing, sales support, or related role.
• Strong communication by phone and email.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily tasks.
• Ability to work with purchase orders and basic order processing workflows.
• Experience in quoting and follow-up for inside sales support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and orders.
• Provide phone coverage and expedite orders as needed.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and escalate complex issues.
• Prepare basic quotations with clear pricing and product details.
• Process orders with attention to codes, quantities, and specs.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely order fulfillment and delivery.
