Sunflower Bank N.A. is seeking an energetic Assistant Branch Manager for the Las Cruces Telshor branch. You will assist the Branch Manager in leading retail growth, coaching staff, and delivering legendary customer service while controlling expenses and coordinating branch operations.

Responsibilities include staff hiring/training, cross-selling products, ensuring compliance, daily cash management, and security oversight. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of similar or related experience.
• Sales ability and persuasiveness.
• Interpersonal skills to include trust, diplomacy, courtesy and tact.
• Exceptional customer service, sales, leadership, teamwork and management skills.
• Working knowledge of bank operations.
• Ability to develop and achieve group goals.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, direct and evaluate staff; recommend promotions and salary adjustments.
• Develop and coach staff to provide legendary customer service.
• Grow branch customers and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Monitor teller line for compliance with banking regulations and Bank policies.
• Schedule and monitor daily activities of staff and transaction approvals.
• Order daily cash requirements and manage cash limits.
• Uphold security policies and be primary support for branch security.
• Ensure posting differences are reviewed and corrected daily.
