Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Branch Supervisor in Minot, ND to build strong customer relationships and promote our products and services. You will manage counter area, optimize inventory, and drive sales while upholding service standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train staff, with occasional travel. Base pay starts around $70,000 with incentive opportunities based on metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance.
• 4+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred: Business, management, administration or finance.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interface with all levels of external and internal customers.
• Ability to motivate and influence others to meet branch objectives.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain counter area through inventory management and product placement.
• Ensure customer service aligns with market requirements and company policy.
• Achieve market penetration to meet branch and company objectives.
• Provide or establish training plan for all location employees.
• Schedule, plan, and implement promotional activities with suppliers.
