Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in Newnan, GA to lead daily branch operations, drive growth, and deliver excellent customer service. You will supervise staff, manage lending activities, and implement sales strategies to meet targets while upholding compliance and policy requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and experience in consumer/residential lending with a proven ability to coach teams and build relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a banking team and achieving branch sales/service goals.
• Strong supervisory and coaching abilities; ability to develop staff across functions.
• Knowledge of Consumer and Small Business Lending Operations and bank products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch growth, profitability and daily operations.
• Cross-train staff to ensure coverage of all branch functions.
• Hire, onboard, and evaluate branch staff and drive performance.
• Use reports to maximize branch results and staff productivity.
• Develop and monitor the branch business plan and community outreach.
• Lead business development, sales programs and customer outreach.
• Protect the bank by enforcing policies and controls.
• Communicate goals and performance to staff regularly.
• Manage 25% travel and flexible scheduling as needed.
