Job summary

The Brick Company in New Orleans seeks a Branch Manager to lead a building materials distribution branch. You will oversee sales, customer service, inventory, yard operations, and transportation, driving revenue growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership in building materials or wholesale distribution, a focus on safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of management experience in building materials or related industries.
• Proven leadership across multiple departments and teams.
• Strong knowledge of brick, block, stone, pavers, and masonry products preferred.
• Experience with inventory, logistics, and customer service operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily branch operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
• Develop inside/outside sales, warehouse, yard, delivery, and admin staff.
• Drive sales growth and build relationships with contractors, builders, and developers.
• Manage budgets, margins, and financial reporting with corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee inventory and yard management, including vendor coordination and safety.
• Ensure DOT compliance, on-time deliveries, and high customer satisfaction.
