Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Denver, CO is hiring a Branch Driver I or II to deliver products from the branch and to customers and suppliers. This role involves loading, unloading, documenting deliveries, and meeting customer requirements with accuracy and safety.

The position requires adherence to DOT rules, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate across routes. Training is provided, with pay depending on experience and level.

Qualifications

• In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects; complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle; ensure material is correct and undamaged.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation, including delivery receipt, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest.
• Pick up material returns and verify condition, quantities, and catalog numbers.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• Mentor entry level drivers and provide coaching.
• May perform other branch duties such as counter sales, order filling, receiving, stocking, staging and shipping.
