Qualifications

• Must attend driver training if no prior experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment review and Motor Vehicle Record check
• Must obtain verification of medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• No suspended license in past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report
• Keep vehicle clean and maintained; report needed repairs
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations
• Load/unload materials; verify order accuracy and damage-free condition
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signature and packing list
• Pickup material returns and verify condition and quantities
• Pickup material from suppliers
• Participate in training of entry-level drivers and provide mentorship
• May perform other branch duties such as counter sales, stocking, and shipping
