Mutual Materials in Vancouver, WA is hiring an entry-level Counter Sales Representative to be the first contact for contractors and walk-in customers. You will help customers choose materials from brick, concrete blocks, pavers, and other masonry products, with full training provided.

You will learn product details, handle sales orders, cash and credit transactions, and keep showroom displays organized. The role may involve occasional yard work and inventory checks, and requires strong customer

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced Branch team.
• Familiarity with computers and basic math skills.
• Previous experience in building materials is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-person and phone support to contractors and walk-in customers.
• Learn and share detailed product knowledge to guide customers toward the right solutions.
• Prepare sales orders, complete cash/credit transactions, and handle basic data entry.
• Keep showroom displays, literature, and products organized and fully stocked.
• Assist occasionally in the yard and participate in inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.
