Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Houston is seeking a Retail Assistant Branch Manager to align with the Retail Branch Manager in driving results and growth of consumer and business relationships. You will enhance customer experiences and lead community engagement while supporting sales strategies to meet branch goals.

The role requires leadership, strong sales and service skills, and the ability to engage with diverse customers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrable leadership ability; prior supervisory experience helpful.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue goals by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services beneficial to the customer.
• Grow, retain and deepen consumer and business relationships; proactively grow deposits and loans.
• Enhance customer experience and the Bank's reputation by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with customers and partners.
• Lead and coach team members to reach their full potential and be a positive role model.
