Job summary

Flagstar Bank in Huntington, IN is seeking a Branch Banking Assistant Leader to help drive revenue growth, ensure operational integrity, and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will work with the Branch Banking Leader to coach staff, grow primary client relationships and support sales initiatives.

You will lead talent management activities, reinforce compliance, manage risk, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets while maintaining a community-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Education level required: High School or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of branch sales experience.
• Experience with a variety of banking products.
• Experience with banking risk management.

Responsibilities

• Drive market growth of primary client relationships and achieve growth targets in deposits, loans, and non-interest income.
• Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and sales initiatives.
• Support coaching, development and mentorship of team members; reinforce training to branch teams on our mission and how to engage communities and customers.
• Assist Branch Banking Leader with talent management: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring compliance.
• Deliver client engagement and education using available tools; foster a culture of exceptional client experience.
• Identify and mitigate reputational, regulatory, employee and client risks by ensuring compliance with policies and regulations; meet operational standards.
• Perform special projects and additional duties; adhere to regulatory policies and required trainings.
