Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager SAFE Act in Washington, DC to lead a team and drive sales growth while building customer loyalty. You will coordinate with the consumer sales team to develop business strategies and manage staff and risk.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience in banking, proven team leadership, and strong communication and analytical skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer branch sales, service, control and management of human resources.
• Manage staff to ensure all employees are clear on work priorities and activities, and maintain high levels of customer service.
• Execute planning and budgeting activities to ensure branch annual goals are met.
• Conduct daily huddles and communicate company goals, business strategies, new initiatives, and expectations to all staff.
• Monitor performance to ensure branch metrics are met and actions to improve customer satisfaction.
• Oversee branch controls and compliance, to effectively manage risk and internal audit ratings.
• Identify training needs and career progression opportunities; perform supervisory duties including evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Lead recruitment/selection of staff across sales and operations and onboarding.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold firm’s reputation, and escalate control issues with transparency.
