Legacy Hospice is seeking a Branch Administrator who is a Registered Nurse to lead a dedicated team delivering compassionate end-of-life care in Hattiesburg, MS. The role combines clinical oversight with operational leadership to ensure quality care, regulatory readiness, and effective performance management.

The ideal candidate holds an active Mississippi RN license, a nursing degree (BSN/MSN preferred), and at least 3 years in hospice nursing with 1+ year in leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment (Mississippi)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of hospice nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations
• Lead, supervise, and support clinical and administrative staff
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Oversee quality assurance, documentation, and regulatory readiness
• Participate in budgeting and achieve key performance goals
• Serve as a resource for clinical care including RN Case Management as needed
• Build strong relationships with community partners and referral sources

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Branch Administrator, leading a team of professionals who share a passion for delivering dignity and comfort to patients and families.

What You'll Do

As Branch Administrator, you will oversee all clinical and operational aspects of our hospice services, ensuring compliance, quality of care, and team performance. This leadership role involves:

• Managing day-to-day operations of the branch
• Leading, supervising, and supporting clinical and administrative staff
• Ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Overseeing quality assurance, documentation, and regulatory readiness
• Participating in budgeting and achieving key performance goals
• Acting as a resource and occasional support for clinical care, including RN Case Management when needed
• Building strong relationships with community partners and referral sources
