Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Branch Administrator to handle administrative and clerical tasks and support resolution of local service issues.

You will manage billing, orders, proofs of delivery, credits, and reports; file documents and maintain records; and participate in quality improvement efforts across the location.

Qualifications

  • High school education is required.
  • About 6+ months of related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, data entry and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interface and work well with all levels of employees and management.

Responsibilities

  • Complete administrative tasks including invoicing, scanning orders and quotations, and providing proofs of delivery.
  • Process customer credits and deductions and investigate causes.
  • Investigate and resolve LIV workflows and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • File documents, maintain tax certificates, back up receptionist duties, and manage company records.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Teams to reduce rework and improve service at the location.
  • Review and approve daily transactions including returns to suppliers and from customers.

Job description

Make a difference. As a Branch Administrator, you will perform administrative and clerical activities and assist with the resolution of local service issues.

  • Complete administrative tasks including job lot billing to customers, scanning/faxing orders and quotations, and providing proofs of delivery (POD) as required.
  • Process customer credits and deductions and investigate/track their causes.
  • Investigate and resolve LIV workflows, and coordinate the generation and clearing of daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • File documents and mail, maintain tax certificate files, back up receptionist, and manage Company records.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Teams in an effort to limit rework, streamline administrative functions, and enhance the service effort within the location.
  • Key and approve daily transactions including but not limited to returns to suppliers, returns from customers, miscellaneous billings and credits.
  • Participate in annual inventory and closing work, as directed.
  • Review and approve reports in accordance with Company instructions; suggest and implement appropriate corrective actions.
What you bring to the table:
  • High school education
  • 6+ months of related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of computer systems; SAP experience preferred

Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
