Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, has an opportunity for a Brake Value Stream Manager, Manufacturing Operations based in Troy, Ohio. This role oversees the Aircraft Brake production line for commercial, military, and regional/business aircraft, reporting to the Troy Site Leader and guiding three operations departments.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• 5+ years experience leading direct reports in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement tools: Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or CORE.
• Ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop production supervisors to support continuous improvement strategies.
• Drive lean manufacturing principles on the shop floor and ensure standard work.
• Establish safety and quality focus and on-time delivery metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, monitor performance vs. plan.
• Develop strategy for Machining, Brake Chemical Operations, and Assembly areas.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure monthly objectives are met.
