D.O.M. magazine, the premier aviation maintenance publication, is seeking a Brake Assembly Operator at our Troy, OH site. You will assemble brakes and components, set torque wrenches, test assemblies, and ensure quality while maintaining accurate records and inventory.

This on-site role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures. The position supports Collins Aerospace operations with a focus on producing reliable brake assemblies and ensuring efficient workflow on the shop

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 2 years of relevant experience if no HS diploma.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information.
• Minimum of 1 year CNC machining experience or minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with technical documents such as routings, blueprints, or work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignments and follow supervisor instructions.
• Read SOPs and operating sheets; set up torque wrenches and assemble brakes.
• Test brakes and rework as needed; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare brakes for shipment and maintain clean work areas.
