Job summary

Brembo is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of foundation brake systems for new and existing programs in our US operations. You will gather vehicle parameters, packaging data, and engineering requirements to drive technical decisions and ensure compliance with program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong communication and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and technical responsibility for development of foundation brake for new and existing programs.
• Gather customer vehicle parameters, packaging data and engineering requirements.
• Evaluate new program technical requirements.
• Perform brake system analysis.
• Manage customer reviews and internal drawing releases.
• Assist with presentations and quote submissions.
• Support APQP/PPAP and other customer program requirements.
• Assist ramp-up and production support throughout life of program.
• Support engineering problem resolution related to quality and warranty.
• Participate in customer test activities and vehicle builds.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee prototype build and delivery.
• Periodic travel required.
