Aerotek in Kent, OH is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join the team. You will operate CNC and manual brake press machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

The role requires setting up machines, reading blueprints, running programs, and inspecting parts with precision tools. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite position with a two-shift schedule and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating brake press equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong shop math skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to operate lifts or cranes.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with noise and heat.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 2nd shift from 1:45 PM to 2:15 AM, Monday through Friday. The work environment involves noise and heat, and requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. The role demands adherence to safety protocols and the ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
