Jobot is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup Operator/Fabricator in Columbus, OH. This role requires hands‑on setup capabilities, reading blueprints, and operating 85–175‑ton CNC presses within a fast‑paced shop environment.

You will work with Amada/Toyokoki equipment, maintain tight tolerances, and participate in cross‑training while following safety and ISO procedures. The position offers full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Two years of press brake setup and operating experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 85–175-ton CNC and ATC press brakes.
  • Work with Amada and Toyokoki press brake equipment.
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
  • Produce parts within tolerances of ±.005 inch and one‑half degree.
  • Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Adjust machine offsets to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Record inspection results and part characteristics.
  • Support fabrication, hardware insertion, assembly, finishing, and other shop departments.
  • Operate grinders, deburring equipment, Fladder finishing equipment, and related machinery.
  • Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, including rivet guns.
  • Participate in on‑the‑job training and cross‑training throughout the facility.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and ISO‑related procedures.

Press Brake Operator With Industry Leader (1st & 2nd Shift Openings) / $25-$33 Per Hour / Full Benefits & Growth Opportunity

Salary: $25 - $33 per hour

A well-established precision fabrication company in Columbus is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup Operator/Fabricator. This is a hands‑on setup position in a fast‑paced, high‑mix/low‑volume job shop. Candidates must be capable of completing their own setups, making adjustments, and producing precision parts. This is not an operator‑only position.

Initial training may take place on first shift, Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or a split shift, Monday–Thursday from 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow and retain detailed instructionsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, or manufacturing software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Amada or Toyokoki press brakes
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures and quality standards
  • Two to three years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with hardware insertion, finishing equipment, or pallet jacks
  • Previous experience in a precision fabrication job shop
