Job summary

Recruiting Solutions seeks an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a great team in Greenville, SC. You will operate Amada and Accurpress press brakes to form and bend sheet metal, working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and reading blueprints and drawings.

You must set up equipment per job specifications, calculate bend deductions, use hemming dies, inspect parts for accuracy, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience forming and bending sheet metal.
• Ability to read blueprints, measurements and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Amada and/or Accurpress press brakes to form and bend sheet metal
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Set up and operate equipment according to job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical drawings
• Calculate bend deductions to ensure accurate finished dimensions
• Use appropriate tooling, including hemming dies, to achieve required bends and finishes
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned
