Job summary

PPSwork is seeking a Brake Press Operator to set up and operate the press to bend metal at our new facility in a fast-growing, team-oriented environment. This role offers a day shift with a starting pay of $18–$20 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, paid vacation, holidays and medical, dental & vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• May engage in frequent bending, lifting, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.

• Notifies lead of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
