Job summary

RCS Fabrication is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to set up and operate sheet metal press brakes, form parts to customer specifications, and read blueprints to ensure accuracy. You will dial in machine setup, run quality checks, and keep the brake running at full capacity to support downstream operations.

This on-site role in Georgia requires hands-on performance, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience (1 year preferred).
• Experience in setup, calibration, and operation of press brakes.
• Working knowledge of press brake tooling and formed materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate sheet metal press brakes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to form parts to customer requirements.
• Create and edit machine forming programs.
• Adjust speed, material feed, and bend path to produce quality parts.
• Inspect formed parts for dimensional accuracy and defects.
• Perform periodic checks on output to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain equipment and work area in clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Communicate effectively with production management to meet the production schedule.
