Job summary

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machines used to bend and form sheet metal parts. This is a full-time manufacturing role with weekly pay and a compensation cap of $20/hour, depending on experience.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, load and position sheet metal, perform bending, inspect parts with measuring tools, and ensure quality and safety in a stable production environment. Growth opportunities exist within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake machines or similar fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment.
• Select proper tooling for each job.
• Load sheet metal and position parts.
• Perform bending operations to meet production goals.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools.
• Verify parts meet specifications and tolerances.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Identify minor equipment issues and report concerns.
• Record production counts and scrap.
• Maintain accurate job documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
