Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate aluminum and steel parts using mechanical or hydraulic brake presses.
• Ensure part accuracy in dimensions upon completion.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor and meet weekly schedules.
• Detect and report faulty equipment or materials to the team leader and supervisor.
• Use safety equipment properly and follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment.
• Perform additional duties and cross-train as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong math skills, including converting decimals to fractions and vice versa.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure, precision square, and protractor.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Quick learner in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Demands:

• Physical fitness to perform tasks in designated work areas, including use of small tools, full range of motion, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and working in awkward positions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 35 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 70 pounds.
• Visual requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
