Job summary

Match Staffing is seeking a Brake Press Operator in the Hiram area to operate a press brake for shaping sheet metal and plates. The role is second shift and temp-to-hire with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include setting up the press brake, measuring and aligning materials, inspecting finished parts, and performing routine maintenance to ensure quality and efficiency. An HS diploma and metal fabrication experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to operate press brake controls safely and effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Brake Press Operators needed for our Client, an industry leader an excellent employer located in the Hiram area.

This position is responsible for using machinery to manipulate metal into various shapes and forms. Press brake operators manufacture tools, metal, and other pieces of equipment using a press brake to make punches, bends, and cuts into sheet or plate metal. This is a second shift position. Position pays $24.00 per hour and is temp to hire.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Effectively Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.

1. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
2. Use machinery to manipulate metal into various forms and shapes.
3. Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.
4. Measures and aligns materials to be used.
5. Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
6. Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.
