Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a full-time, 2nd shift Brake Press Operator for a family-owned sheet metal fabrication shop. You will produce parts and tools from metal using a brake press and CNC, following blueprints and specifications to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have strong experience setting up brake presses, reading blueprints, and selecting top/bottom dies. Experience with Cincinnati Brakes, Ermaksan, and Amada Brakes is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2nd shift brake press operator for a family owned sheet metal shop.
• Experience setting up brake presses and reading blueprints.
• Familiarity with Cincinnati Brakes, Ermaksan and Amada Brakes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake press (and CNC where applicable) to bend, punch or cut metal parts per blueprints and specs.

2nd shift Brake Press Operator for a family owned Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop. Brake Press Operators produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials using a press brake, a CNC that makes precision bend s, punches or cuts into material.

• Strong experience in setting up brake press
• Strong experience with Cincinnati Brakes
• Strong experience with Ermaksan
• Strong experience with Amada Brakes
• Strong experience in reading blueprints
• Strong experience in setting up machines (what top/bottom dies to pull)
