Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, with a focus on safety and customer service. You will work with our shop team to complete tasks efficiently according to company policies.

You will test drive vehicles, operate shop equipment, and assist with offsite road service as needed. This role includes on-the-job training, a durable benefits package, and opportunities for growth within the

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license.
Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/calibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assisting other employees; test driving vehicles.
Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
