Les Schwab Tire Centers in Utah is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment and suspension components, test batteries, and ensure high-quality, safe results that meet company standards.

You will dismount and mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, recalibrate TPMS, drive service vehicles for offsite or emergency road calls, and deliver excellent customer service while assisting other teammates.

Formación

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, walk and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Testing and installing batteries

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services


• Provides excellent customer service


• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license


• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment


• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds


• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing
