Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician in Utah. The role involves servicing brake, suspension, and alignment systems, plus driving and test‑driving vehicles to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include installing components, testing batteries, and performing TPMS recalibrations, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly lifts 35–75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services


• Provides excellent customer service


• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license


• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment


• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
