Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Idaho to service brakes, align suspension systems, and perform vehicle maintenance with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role involves tire mounting, drive tests, and offsite assistance while maintaining high service standards and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training is provided to develop skills in braking, alignment, and TPMS recalibration.

Formación

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Customer service skills essential in a fast-paced shop.
• Ability to lift 35–75 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, reach and stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Install or service brake, suspension, and alignment components.
• Test batteries and drive tests for road-worthiness.
• Mount/dismount tires, rebalance wheels, and service TPMS.
• Operate shop tools and assist other team members.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer to qualified staff when needed.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services


• Provides excellent customer service


• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license


• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment


• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds


• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing
